Not that anyone has noticed, but for what it’s worth, our official code cleanup to validate against XHTML 1.0 Strict started on January 1, and the bulk of the site is now validating to Strict vs. the previous 1.0 Transitional. Okay, well. Things seem to be stable at the moment – Dreamhost put me on a new server and so far response times seem acceptable, I haven’t noticed the flakiness I was seeing on my old server. Of course if you do see anything unusual please let me know.

Well, it’s a little irritating, but my new format has been extensively tested and works perfectly in Firefox for Windows, Firefox for Mac, Safari and Camino. It’s fully standards-compliant and contains no errors.
But IE can’t figure out how to show it correctly.
