On this beautiful Father’s Day weekend, can I just pause for a moment to say: What the fuck is wrong with you, America?
Never mind the War On Terror – apparently the hot new thing is the War On Kids.
In other news, Obama spent Father’s Day speaking to an African-American group in Chicago about how far too many fathers have failed their children and abandoned their responsibilities. No kidding, Barack. Let’s take that message on the road.
I really wish I hadn’t clicked those links. The mixture of nausea and rage I’m experiencing is downright debilitating. While a part of me would like to line all of these sick fucks up in front of a ditch and start shooting I don’t think it would be appropridate. A bullet to the head is much too good for trash like this…
Yeah, I debated about adding a warning, because they are guaranteed to really send your mood into a death spiral. I settled for adding mouseover text so people could at least know what they were clicking on.
The guy stomping the toddler to death in the street is the one that really haunts me – that’s the kind of thing that just should not happen, anywhere, anytime, and the fact that it can and did happen is evidence that there is something very nasty and unpleasant going on beneath the surface in our society.
