Some folks say he is. Some folks say he isn’t. Some folks just don’t care. (You’ll just have to imagine those last folks singing about it, I guess, since I can’t seem to find the recording anywhere online.)
Sadly, the evidence seems to favor LA Style. The Godfather has moved on.
The beat goes on, though. The Funky Drummer will be with us always.
