So here I am on the Orange Line en route to Midway. I figured I’d check
wireless coverage in the Loop as we passed, and I have to say that I am
surprised – maybe it’s just reception on my Palm, but the downtown area was
not the hotbed of wifi activity I had [...]

Here’s a pic of my cell phone camera, with some random schmuck in the
background.
(In case any geeks are keeping track, like for scoring purposes: pic taken
on cell phone, sent to Palm via bluetooth, emailed from Palm via wifi to
Gmail, pulled from Gmail via cron job and autopublished to WP using Postie. [...]

Once more… This time with feeling (or at least with cron jobs)...

Whew, the suspense is about killing [...]

...user thefez of e2, for a new journal tagline.
Now if we can only come up with a similarly evocative site name…

Today I’ve been reading a book called Mind Hacks, from O’Reilly (the people who do all the animal books). Lots of fun stuff in here. I particularly liked this bit, in a section called Mapping your Blind Spot:
Here’s a fun way of playing with your blind spot. In a room of people, close [...]

Once in a while I view the site in IE6 to verify that everything looks more or less okay. At the moment, for some bizarre reason, IE is insisting on shoving the contents of my sidebar all the way down below the end of the text in the main column.
